surfing is sort of part of it but I need more; write down some thoughts I have. I don't know really.

This sounds like someone ready to surf to me. :)

Wow, enjoy India! I have a friend that has been to Varanasi several times to study tabla playing. He loves it and from all accounts it sounds like a wonderful experience. Safe travels. Where you going in India? I hear it's a pretty big place.

Thank you. Well I'm hoping to make my way from Nepal to Goa, I know I won't be there for long enough to see the whole country but at least it'll be a taste!

I'm hoping to make my way from Nepal to Goa, -Dude, that's awesome! Gao sounds like it's a hell of a destination. A quick search told me that it's the richest state in India with over twice the average income of India's average. It might make for an interesting juxtaposition with the rest of the country.

Thanks! It might do, I'm a bit scared still, I don't know what to expect but I'm just going with it!

Those are the best trips though, when you aren't sure what to expect. Every year for their anniversary my parents get in their car choose a direction and then just drive with no intention to stop anywhere specific. They always have a great time and discover new, interesting parts of the country. It's obviously not as scary as going from Nepal to Gao, but still... you get the point. Often having no plan is better than having one.
