You dont have issues with using different hardware or anything? How do you find updates etc work?

Although I posted this, I dont currently have much use for OSX but I like the idea and to have the occasional play.

i was a bit too cheerful with that, i think... does NOT work without a few hacks, the 4 machines i use it on are extremely similar, updates will brick it without fixing them first, my dog died, and i probably have less hair now too. admittedly, i use it mostly for testing things on ios and safari, playing around, and compatability problems caused by hipsters.

that being said, its not taking up otherwise useful space (except in my pocket), i always have a netbook with me anyway, and it cost me about $60 instead of $1500 or being forced to befriend a mac user.

edit: if you just wanna play around, go for it. youll learn ALOT about how things work, develop a healthy hatred for apple, and realize that open source rocks all at the same time. the same irritable, fist pounding, chain smoking time....sigh

edit again: anyone wanting an actual useful tool for use on multiple boxes would fare much better with a 1-4gig ubuntu stick, estimated cost $5
