I had some time tonight and I just started making music with absolutely no direction. Then I remembered I had some poems, words and ramblings from Rico. I chose this one below to add to the music. I dig the end.
Original work from humanodon:
- “At least you’ve got your health” he says, hacking clouds
of disease over all of us. He shakes my hand, which I
immediately disinfect. No one likes hanging around a loser.
“Your accuracy just isn’t there” they said, politely as possible.
“I can’t not hire someone because of a cough”. “Hygiene
is the issue” and in that there is a germ of truth. Infection,
it’s what we smell on entering the den. It’s the nature
of the temp agency, that stepping stone to nowhere, skipping
stones until everyone stops looking. “Please, feel free to eat
lunch in your car” and once a year, we will give you ice cream
if you give us your hope, your ambition and your time.
Here are the lyrics I used:
He said, "Hey at least you've got your health now"
Hacking clouds of disease all over us all
He shakes my hand which I immediately shake off
No one likes hanging around a loser like him
"Your accuracy, well it just isn't there," They said.
Someday you'll see
The step
The stepping
The stepping stone
The stepping stone to
The stepping stone to nowhere
I cannot hire someone because of a cough
Hygiene is the issue and theres a germ of truth
Infection is what we smell in the den
It's the nature of being a temp
It's the nature of being temporary
