Just been checking bus, train, plane, driving schedules. It is not doable -- at least not without theadvancedapes to do all the midnight driving. Do you believe that to take an Amtrak train from Toronto to Ann Arbor I have to go through Buffalo and Chicago? It's quite cheap though, relatively. Next time.
