He makes a claim that "By law, we have to let any business use our songs that asks, so long as they agree to pay a rate that, more often than not, was not set in a free market. We don’t have a choice. " but in my limited search, I was unable to find anything at all about that. If that's the case, then isn't the real issue that particular law and not streaming as a whole? Also, if that's the case, why was Taylor Swift able to pull her music from Spotify at all?
