Biological assay sensitivity typically far exceeds the range of biological noise. My life is full of efforts to isolate cause and effect from false positives.
Also, I suspect that my thinking works against me. Nature does not fear complexity nor interdependence. Yet, I am charged with looking into the causes of observable difference, and worse, reproducing the difference by operating upon an isolation that is largely rooted in perception, which is necessarily caged by the limits of human comprehension.
