I'm glad I'm not the only one who recognized PressFart. I'm not entirely surprised he clung to gamergate after he got shut out of everything on the Polaris network.
A woman allegedly had sex with a "game journalist" in exchange for good reviews. Another woman is video blogging after a Kickstarter campaign about the portrayal of women in games as 2d sex objects. This woman may not even be a gamer and is ill informed about the subtleties of the Hitman franchise among other gaffes. Because of this women are being threatened with rape and murder by gamers who are worried about ethics, their portrayal as a group and perceptions of their hobby as a misogynistic boys' club. It's probably the most ridiculous thing NPR news has covered as something like a serious story.
