I imagine that my girlfriend would have said something. Or my parents. Or coworkers. Maybe everyone secretly whispered behind my back about it, but I don't think so. I'd hope someone would have had the balls to stage an intervention, but no dice. Not even a hint of anyone's discomfort. Welp, now I can't wear jeans to any Hubski events.
