Wait, REALLY? I am sooooo excited about this. This is easily my favorite geological weird thing. I have long entertained a secret wish to write an alternative-history genre piece wherein the multithousand year pole-flipping process began right as humans were coming into their own. What happens? Does it fuck our science? Is navigation affected a lot? Does a polarity religion come into power?
