Presumably it appears next to blackbootz' link because I'm not explicitly following the poster, domain or tags, so hubski is telling me why that post is on my feed at all.

You are right about this.

I'm hesitant to have it show on the feed just because it tends to get really cluttered. I have another account that only follows a couple people for testing, etc and it look really busy when every post in the feed has that information.

This is getting complicated, but maybe make it appear in the usual place but only hover-over. Y'all have used that solution before to avoid clutter.

I find this feature SO helpful and I can't believe no one else uses it.

Oh I totally use it. I'm very interested to see who shares posts and so on. I don't mind the pop-up though, although hover might work, except how is hover going to work for those of us who live mostly on touch-screens these days?
