I am actually just starting out, going to take the MSF this weekend and I am talking to a guy that is selling his SV650. So hopefully I'll be able to get out there!
Super cool! The SV is an EXCELLENT choice for a starter bike. Heck, you could start on it, and then ride it for years and still have fun.
That's what most people have been saying. Its a 2003 with 11k miles and he is asking $2600 for it. Overall it looks like it is in great shape.

I used to be friends with one guy whose father owned a motorcycle museum in Spain, I was also at the Guggenheim exhibition 'The art of the motorcycle". I saw it at the Guggenheim.
