Nooo, don't post pictures of yourselves, it ruins the mystique of the whole thing. Perhaps not the most influential group of all time, but my vote goes to the Supremes. These gals were the most successful African American Motown act of the 60s. They had lots of crossover appeal which made them very popular, and that popularity paved the way for Black Soul and R&B acts, who were able to gain audiences both in the states, and overseas. Damn I love that song
The supremes were killer. Some of the best music ever made, in my opinion. Could very easily be one of the most influnpential groups in the US. Worldwide though may be a stretch. In the same vein, I'd suggest The Funk Brothers - have to give some credit to the group that made all these amazing Motown records happen.
