Yes, unlike in the United States, in most countries the media immediately publishes the graphic gruesome details including high quality video and photography of any tragic event. That is, unless it would have a political effect. I find that quality refreshing, in a twisted sort of way

Been reading more through this off and on -- I was thinking along the same lines as the guy who thinks the ISS could be helpful. I don't understand why we don't know where exactly this plane went down if we've got satellite coverage etc. EDIT: it was night and there was slight cloud cover. Further down in the thread some people do try to put together images and flight paths. Inconclusive.
