Here's my muddled point though: that's a country where there is really next to no anti-slut shaming movement, or slut shaming awareness, sympathy or consideration, but there is growing unrest. What a lot of college aged girls are doing is just going out and doing what they want, since they can't win either way. But, they don't talk about it, except among friends. Here, there's a whole lot of people talking about slut shaming on both sides of the issue and people are more nervous about sex and having less of it than ever, to boot. To an extent, I think that people should stop talking about what's preventing them from having a good time and just go have a good time. I also think that slut shaming is a symptom rather than the disease.
