I have been taping/covering up the camera on my personal computer, and it's not even a Mac. I know it sounds paranoid, but this isn't the first article I've read on this topic. Better safe than sorry.

I actually opted to by a thinkpad without the built-in webcam to avoid such a problem. Now I just use a creative webcam and only plug it in when I need it. I wonder if the macs have an option to purchase without a webcam.
