I play a little bit of War Thunder. It's a WWII - Korean War flight sim game, mostly focusing around WWII war birds. It's a very fun game, free to download, free to play, and you can pay for extras or to level faster (but it's not needed). It does have some MMO leveling elements to it to get new planes, but even the lower leves are a blast, and that's pretty much all I play. I don't have a lot of time for games, but that's the only one I'm playing a couple times a week now.
That would've been my pick too. War Thunder is a lot of fun and has stunning visuals on highest settings, while it doesn't need a high end PC to play it at 30fps. I don't know how, but this is the only online game that has managed to keep me motivated for weeks. Sadly, a lot of people think that it's a rip-off of Wargaming's World Of Tanks & World Of Warplanes, but the guys from War Thunder started the development way earlier after they split up from Wargaming and became part of Gaijin Entertainment.
Yeah, and I don't care if it's a "rip-off", it's beautifl, fun, and true to the flight models of the aircraft. I used to play Air Warrior 1-3 on AOL and later Gamestorm a long time ago, and this is the first WWII flight sim since that is actually fun and holds my interest. Love it!
