Nice interview Cadell, I enjoyed this read. Can you describe what the repercussions would be for the areas outside of the "blast" area but still effected by the ecological side effects? How long would the ash block out the sun? How much of the ash would coat the vegetation or even pollute drinking water? Are these the concerns? Obviously, magma would be the concern of those near the volcano but what is the impact for those hundreds of miles away? If Yellowstone erupted out west, what would be the ecological impact to the east coast?
