Pakistan is far away and a brief google search of status of women in Pakistan will show that setting a woman on fire or murdering family members in "honour killings" is not particularly unusual.

> We can protest the Xman poster and it will actually be taken down

We quickly took steps to remove those materials. We apologize for our actions and would never condone violence against women.

We can bring attention to injustice on the other side of this fragile planet. but our experience intervening in cultures we barely understand has been discouraging.

> interesting that both cases are about violence against women. A person speaking up against images that seem to celebrate violence against women will be heard. There has been a movement since 1998 to raise the consciousness of men with regards to male violence against women. Our society is somewhat aware of its wrongness. There's a chance that if you set anyone on fire in North America, you will not be protected by tradition, custom, and gender inequality..
