That's the interesting thing about Birthers, though. Even if they were correct, it wouldn't disqualify Obama from being president. The courts have basically said that a "natural born citizen" means someone who is a citizen from birth, and is independent of where the person was born. In addition to Cruz, George Romney (Mexico) and John McCain (Panama) are examples of major party candidates who were not born in the US. That calls into question the who reason why Obama (or his parents or grandparents) would have faked a birth. It's unnecessary.
