For Utah. You'll be passing Park City, It's very nice this time of year, and the Mountain Resort has some cool things like the Alpine Slide, or a sweet zip-line. Plenty of nice places to eat in Park City as well. Driving through the Canyon will have some nice picnic spots. In Salt Lake the Hogle Zoo is close and has been recently remodeled and built upon. and The Natural History Museum of Utah and Red Butte Gardens at the University of Utah are really cool too. Downtown Salt Lake has Temple Square that is really nice with a lot to see nearby including the newish City Creek outdoor Mall, Mormons everywhere, but at least they're nice. Even if there's not a concert going on, stopping at Saltair right by the Great Salt Lake is always interesting, it's an old rundown building with a lot of interesting History. Skull Valley is boring, we mostly go out there for target practice. But the Bonneville Salt Flats are pretty cool too and worth seeing.
