well you like RTJ so you should check their solo projects you have a lot of backlog to work through. Outkast Wu-Tang, really, anything from NYC during the golden era. A Tribe Called Quest Mos Def and assorted aliases
MF Doom Madlib Talib Kweli Joe Budden (especially the Mood Muzik tapes) Joel Ortiz there's some interesting younger guys out now too. Flatbush Zombies Joey Badass and some others in Pro Era The Underachievers are hit and miss Action Bronson Charles Hamilton (never developed into what he could have)
Check out features and side projects under different names. I don't know where you're located, but search for local talent as well. there are many many many good rappers that people have no idea exist.
