$70bn between 2013 and 2020 which translates to roughly 14bn/year, very close to Nasa's budget. I'm curious to see what Russia is planning.
Personally I think this is Putin rubbing it in our faces. But any more exploration and study of space is alright with me.
This is really exciting. Given NASA's recent Shuttle kerfuffle, it's really nice to see more money being spent on space programmes.
This is a good thing. More competition from other countries will hopefully lead to an increased budget for NASA, or at least more eyes on our own space program.
Lets hope that Russia sets its space program on Mars, to spark a race for a manned mission. Maybe this will get NASA on its toes. Either way, I'm sure we will be hearing lots more from this program into 2013.
