Imagine what its like NOT being a customer trying to get them to take down a Google Ad for a phishing website that steals peoples hard earned "fake e-money". I was about ready to drive to Mountain View and unleash some insom on their ass when I realized I was talking to some guy in India who only has a script for buying ads and did a surprisingly amazing job at sticking to said script. He deserves a raise even if the company he works for works for a company that will self-immolate in 5-10yrs.
I can only imagine. It took clear to Tier 3 before we moved past "try uninstalling all your apps and reinstalling them one by one!" I'm steadily realizing that Google isn't really a corporation, and neither is Alphabet - they're a balkanized constellation of petty fiefdoms whose territory can be absorbed and forgotten upon the whim of the king. Holy Roman Empire? Not so much. Hapsburg Empire? Totes Mcgoats. So those things that you thought would be awesome? Earth? Fi? GChat? Yeah fuck that shit it's all about Google Plus right now.
