From one of my favourite albums of this year.
It's a good album, for sure. I have been listening to it quite a lot. We discussed it a bit before on the site.
bgood79 just saw him in Michigan and apparently his opening act didn't show up so he just performed an acoustic set to open up the night. -Pretty cool.
Yeah the opener was Ghost of a Saber tooth Tiger (Sean Lennon's band) who are actually really good from what Ive heard of them. Apparently they got held up at the Canadian border. I didn't know what to expect from Beck live, but wow. It was absolutely amazing. Best show i've seen in a long time. The sound at the Fox is also stellar.
I checked out some of their music this morning and some of it was a bit too psychedelic for my taste but then I found this beautiful piece:

I love this song. It was introduced to me on hubski in the "what-have-you-been-listening-to thread and it is now placed on my spotify list.
It's great! You should check out the rest of the album if you like it. I'd also recommend his album Sea Change.
I'll go to his spotify page and just listen through it I think. I usually do that when I discover an artist.
