If it's not, it's not intentional. I agree with your suggestions insom

I disagree- I think you should be able to PM someone who mutes you. I have been muted in the past, and the only way to resolve the conflict/misunderstanding was to PM the person.

That's a good point.

mk, thenewgreen, and I debated muting heavily on Monday. My worry was muting due to harassment: I don't want someone that I don't want to talk to be to be able to talk to me.

I have yet to mute anyone or be muted (as far as I know) so I'm probably not the best person to make decisions. Perhaps we should open up the floor to a wider discussion. I believe mk is planning a post on the subject. Let your voice be heard.

I would agree with this entirely. I'm not sure why kleinbl00 would have muted me. He might well have had a good reason but right now I have no way to resolve the issue.

That's a damn good point. That said, were you muted or ignored?

excellent question…. I think it said "muted here". It's been a year or so, but I think I was unable to participate in a discussion that interested me.

insomniasexx raises a REALLY good point. If I was stalking her on here and making snarky remarks - why shouldn't she have the ability to completely block me, PMs and all. Perhaps - if you mute some one, they are also unable to follow you. That way, discussions you post wouldn't show up in their feed, making it less likely that they would interact with you.

now… back to stalking insom…. (creepy grin)
