#2 Sounds like one of those well intentioned plans that are doomed to failure from the start (or maybe you're hung over now, and you're thinking "I'll never drink again, I swear"). Not eating meat is a goal, and a good one. Limiting yourself to two drinks sounds like something from the Bible--that is, an unreasonable expectation that will only lead to self-loathing and guilt for not living up to perfection. (Tongue-in-cheek, BTW. Actually, I hope it works out. I've had the same thought in the past, but then I end up getting dragged to some lame party where I can't stand to not be drunk, and well, the circle of life carries on, so to speak.)
I know what I'm capable of and if I resolve to do something, it will happen. I will do this and I think it will make me happier and more productive. I drink too much right now, it's indisputable by almost anyones standards. And thank you for the well wishes. Happy New Year b_b
Have you had this? I can't imagine how expensive it is, even for the VSOP. To date the priciest liquor I've ever bought was Remy XO, which ran me ~$170. Not something I would do often, but goddam is it good.
It's $35 a bottle at BevMo. I've a bottle of Hennessy XO. It's nice, but without personality. The Kelt is almost scotch-like in the amount of presence.
