BS on your apologies. I would think folks come here to avoid this kind of crap. Your apology is empty as you knew what you were doing. Go get a job at the Verge or Huffpo if you want to be such an ass. As for the sly comment on the studies of UBI, you appear to know absolutely nothing on the subject. Be honest about your posts. Do not try to choose what you think people want to read.

I would think that a healthy community would not have any down/up/like voting system in place at all. A voting model encourages people to judge without comment. If you are posting in a format that uses a voting system, you may be a needy person who wants validation of others, not a discussion on the topic. If any system were to be implemented, I would recommend something like a trending, most shared or most discussed tag to ascertain the posts viability/popularity.

Well as far as I can figure, the "ism" applies in this case but I just have horrible retching feelings just reading or typing googlism, ugh. Now that I got that out of the way, what about how existing laws and how they are applied to the failure of a car that says it will react and brake better than you can or it did not see the other vehicle in the blind spot as well. Surely there are disclaimers and some laws already enacted that deal with these instances of automated control services. (ACS, I like that better) Is the failure of these services ultimately left on the consumer as they chose to implement or rely on them?

The future is tricky. That is my new catch phrase. Use it if you like.

Not a lawyer but what if Aereo not only rented the antennas, but the actual real estate the antenna was mounted on. Would that now qualify as having the service replay from your own property? (meaning that you basically have ownership rights/use to the physical antenna your are using) From what I recall the killer was that this could be done if the service was done on site (your home) but being an external service it violated the rebroadcast rules. Better yet, not only do you have the rights of ownership of the antenna, its real estate, but rent the server space that your dvr occupies as property as a friend of mine does in the virtual world of "Second Life" and the transmission fees are picked up or included in those rentals and of course you are already paying re-transmission fees to your internet provider as nearly all of them use the same cable to dual broadcast cable tv along with the internet services. I am sure there are flaws involved in this line of thinking. you may have to watch the programming in some kind of virtual world application that 'sits' on your rented space as well. (my friend rents movies and watches television full screen in her virtual living room) and pays in virtual currency. All of this may be complicated, but seems easier than getting the entertainment industry to change their business model to keep up with the technology changes over the last few years.

lxqt is fantastic. I have been using xfce for years and this is a bit quicker. I have always liked lxde and razor qt but both had their quirks that were a no go for me but this merge of the two is brilliant. Now if Manjaro can fix the update that broke the ability to find my cd/dvd drive I would be a happy man.

Curious content although I am not sure of how concrete relationship is to technology as it seems to be more of a cultural observation. These are some who are in the technology field of business or actually, just business. Technology is just the vehicle to their wealth. I do understand the desire to inspire the youth of the Jewish community (and youth in every community) but is the only goal in life now to be just based upon amassing large sums of money and valuable assets?

I feel to encourage people that money defines success is in error in our (or mine, the US) society. Without having any factual data at hand, I am confident in stating that one doesn't achieve that much wealth without standing on someone else's shoulders, pushing them down.
