For whatever reason, I don't believe reddit is the open platform it was at one time. I think its targeted heavily by organisations, the identity of whom we can reasonably make assumptions on, who have a vested and declared interest in stopping free discussion. There has been an increasing trend towards censorship so it's value has decreased dramatically to me. I like to read and talk about what I want, not what some shadowy and corrupt organisation wants.

So a man that basically believes that free thought should be curtailed and made illegal, is rewarded with a position reviewing NSA practices by President Obama? Sounds like democracy to me folks.
