The updates that followed later make your title look a bit sensationalized at this point (not your fault). I can't believe that this woman never filed for divorce previously, even before the shooting. I'm inclined to blame the entire family for being nuts. I also remember reading a comment on reddit about six months ago or so purporting to be from a member of Zimmerman's extended family where he stated that Zimmerman's mental health deteriorated quite a bit after the shooting and the trial events and so on. I wonder.
Fixed the title, they changed it after I posted it. Either way, this guy is a moron for continuing to use guns in any way during his domestic and family problems.
I happen to believe that a) no one can really know whether he was explicitly guilty or not, and b) that he probably was -- but this sort of thing almost makes me wonder if he's too dumb to be guilty of the shooting. Like, if you were guilty and you escaped justice you would go quietly into the night, right? But if you are Zimmerman, and you are innocent in that situation, it only reaffirms your weird supremacy, leading you to act exactly as he acting. What a farce.
