The most obvious part of this update is experimental. -I am testing a ranged scoring system. Nothing about scoring has changed; however you can only see the absolute scores of your own submissions and comments.
Scores are useful for sorting the quality of content, but Hubski is not a competition. With that in mind, I am testing a system that enables you to determine the rough quality of a submission or comment, but at the same time, is a bit less granular, and hopefully, will feel less competitive. I'm hoping it will give Hubski a bit more of a relaxed feel, and keep the focus upon conversation.
The second update brings the ability to save submissions. In the subtitle, there is now a 'save' link. Click the link to save or unsave a submission. On your profile page, there is a 'saved' link that will take you to a list of the submissions you have saved. BTW, if you don't want the save link, you can toggle it off in your profile.
As with all updates, feedback is appreciated. Hubski is a work in progress.
Thanks!
