It seems that the farmer just found another source for the Monsanto seeds (a grain elevator). I suppose as long as Monsanto has the right to stop farmers from planting second generation seeds, this makes sense.

what if I plant non-gmo soy beans save seeds for the next harvest spray that with round up killing the non-ready hybrids and plant from that from now on? cuz you know my neighbors plants are fertilizing mine.

well well does that means that a farmer can not even reseed from his own stock if there is a chance that patented genes will show up?
