- On the weekend of October 13th and 14th the Serpentine Gallery hosted the Memory Marathon, the seventh annual festival of ideas inspired by the annual Pavilion commission.
Internationally renowned artists, writers, historians, musicians, film-makers, neuroscientists, robotics engineers, a scent expert and the Grand Master of Memory gathered in the glowing, geodesic dome for eleven hours of performances, discussions and presentations.
As part of the programme, documentary maker Adam Curtis gave a presentation about brainwashing.
