So I was just told by a radiologist resident that this is not happening in the US. In fact, due to US law, a doctor needs to be licensed. However, I found one 2004 article that suggested that some non-US trained radiologists were being used:

At any rate, I don't see why technology couldn't replace jobs more quickly than they were being made. It is going to get uneasy when the number of things we can do better than computers gets noticeably small.
Seriously, why send Jean-Luc Picard and crew when you could just send a bunch of Datas? I think we might entertain a naive view of the future.
