It is sort of ridiculous to already be rating Obama, they should at least wait until his term is done. It would be interesting to graph how scores have changed over time. Of course each of these rankings represent different subsets of people, but still interesting. Just looking at this, I wonder why Grant had a bit of a revival starting in 2000s.
I find the Taylor-Fillmore-Pierce-Buchanan red blotch very interesting. As for indivdual off-curve points, I also wonder about Benjamin Harrison in the 1990's. Grant's revival in the 2000s was certainly not because of Wild Wild West.
Wild Speculation on Taylor to Buchanan: A) None of these men were Abraham Lincoln. B) As the country began to tear itself apart, none of these men did a lot to fix the problems.
