Are you in Netherlands or your name is just netherlands? Is angpau in min nan dialect?

Haha, I'm not in Netherlands. At the time of creating an account on here, I was casually glancing at a jacket that my Dutch cousin had gifted me, and it had Netherlands on it, so, tada.

I'm actually based in Malaysia. Also, I have no idea. We Malaysian-Chinese just romanize the word as 'angpau' or 'hongpau.'

Oh that's cool. I have a friend from Malaysia and I think the Chinese there is more based off Min nan language, so more Taiwanese.

I'm currently in Netherlands, thats why I was wondering. Haha.
