Texas claimed T-Bone Burnett a long time ago! Also, I just learned a dozen things from his Wikipedia page in the time it took for that song to play. Had no clue he was so active in film, songwriting and working on some extremely famous soundtracks. I've always been really interested in guys like T-Bone, Townes Van Zandt, Willie, of course, Blaze Foley ... the outlaw country guys. Never could get the hang of modern country music, but the old stuff strikes a chord.
