Post-rock does strike me a sort of wintry genre (disregard if you are in the southern hemisphere). I have a few EitS albums, but it's generally not my thing. Never a bad change of pace, though.
Recommend Seam, "The Pace is Glacial" - similar overall vibe but with a bit more energy and some actual, y'know, songs ;)
