Another large Rail Trail is the East Coast Greenway. And an offshoot that still has a lot of work to be done is the Western New England Greenway. I have ridden portions of both and can say without a doubt that there is a lot of work to be done. But, I am glad that they are being created. I dream one day of hopping on my bike and riding down the road from my house and jumping on the WNEG and taking it south to the ECG, then riding south and connecting to the GART, riding west to the sunset. Hopefully it can come to fruition before I am too old to ride a bike.
