I really enjoyed this article. I use to be in a huge Ayn Rand phase; though I knew something was wrong with it, I couldn't really pinpoint what that exactly was. Holding your individuality is important, but not to the extent of believing everyone else is on some lower caste. I think in the end, it's going to be a fine balance between the individual and society, never an extreme. I really don't know though. The middle-ground argument always just seems like a convenient solution.
