snail, I've been mulling over the same thought for a while now.
There are often times threads that I want to refer back to because I am interested in new discussion that is not replying directly to me. I thought it would be cool if you could 'pin' a post somewhere where it would be easily accessible, and would show a notification of new activity in the post. There are lots of ways of implementing this functionality, most worse than others, I'm sure. But the underlying function the feature would address is a worthy one I think.

Well, I was thinking last night that the save function does part of this already, namely saving or "pinning" the thread. Maybe mk can expand the functionality of the save function. Or is that not the function of save?
And yes, I also think it is worthwhile, otherwise I wouldn't have asked ;)
