I can shoot you the PDFs to Wayfarers, the game I created. It's a bit crunchy, but not terribly so. It's classless, skill point d20. Profs are done by rolling 1d20 for each grade, and picking the highest result. Non-proficient is 2d20, take the lowest. I also made The Crappiest RPG on Earth. Which is expandable with Unearthed Crap.

That would be awesome. Even if it does turn out too crunchy for my first time as DM, I can see myself adopting the 2 d20 for non-proficiency as a house rule. Man, I wish I'd sat down and read through the links people have given me yesterday. The Crappiest RPG on Earth would definitely have gotten played last night.
