As an aside, have you ever fasted? The brit-woman mentions her "hunger strike" and a sort of out-of-body experience that comes from it. I'm curious about this.
I once total fasted for 10 days: hot water in morning; hot water at night. My old barber in EV apparently saw me at around 7th day and when he saw my sister he was full of concern -- thought I had AIDS ))) I had visions. It got pretty easy after the 3rd day. I blew the end-game though. This hungary ///animal/// in me went nuts (eating) as soon as I started to break the fast. I did have visions and the 2nd Book of I-Ching (Wilhem) was an open book :) but then again, I've had ~ visions before and after without fasting. I have tried fasting in Ramadan. Believe it or not, it is actually much tougher than above. Every day is a new battle. NB: above and you may see the wisdom of the Muslim fast: at the end of those 30 days, the ///animal/// is fully exhausted and has been conquered. (e.g. in total fast, imo, the animal hibernates ..)
