That sounds great! Are you going to try and capture in some form or another? It sounds like it could really suit a graphic novel.
Graphic novel creation has been something I've been wanting to do for several years. I've got a strong fine arts, design background, but not so good at freehand illustration, and am thinking I'd need to partner up with someone good at the illustration, while I'd provide the writing, storyboard. Just hasn't happened yet. Oh, and thanks. =)
Practice practice practice! I've seen some of what goes into making a webcomic and to get it off the ground you may want to have a team, but perhaps have a go at making a few pages and work on them over time, iterate on it bit by bit, then if and when you want to push on with it you have something appealing to show and bring in good partners. Some artists have been able to do it solo (afaik), just look at how far Jeph Jacques has come from the start back in 2003, then two years later and which he iterated on up til now, twelve years on.
