Not really sure what to think about this, but it's certainly not the first time AU troops have been accused of things like this.
Yeah, no country's troops are immune from this kind of corruption. War does that to people. The biggest concern is trusting that the current AU government will react with appropriate outrage, but considering Tony Abbott is still in power, I'm sure it'll be minimized as much as possible.
Made the same assumption / mistake before reading the article. I was all, "We have troops in Somalia? WHY ARE AUSTRALIAN TROOPS KILLING CIVILIANS IN SOMALIA?!" I was relieved to learn that AU didn't stand for Australia in this case, but still saddened by the loss of life. Every Australian hubskina is probably going to be unintentionally trolled by the headline.
