When I was first discovering music, I got into Nu Metal (KoRn and the like). When I wanted to expand my tastes deeper into other kinds of Metal, I decided to go first with bands I had heard of, and of course who hasn't heard of Metallica? But, knowing nothing of their hits or albums, I walked into a music store, and saw that "Garage Inc." was a double album, so I figured it would be a good introduction for me to get into Metallica. Of course, being all covers, it wasn't precisely the best album to dive into, but I didn't know that at the time. I didn't particularly like it, though I tried to get into it.
When it came time to clear out my music collection and make room for more, I got rid of Garage Inc (I had since picked up Master of Puppets and discovered what Metallica really sounded like), but It's Electric made it through the culling. It's still a good song to get pumped up to, I think.
