I'm a bit apprehensive about the block, as I can see it being abused. I don't think I'll ever use it myself personally, as it really feels like overkill. I like the ability to collapse and uncollapse the comment tree. That'll make sorting through comments a bit easier, especially in places like Pubski where there can be multiple discussion threads branching off of one comment.
Hmm, it does seem like the most overkill option, but I hope that in practice it will only be used for anti-harassment.
