I've recently gotten back into D&D (because I my friend had an epic D&D campaign as his bach party, and it rekindled the habit), and I've been planning as a DM because no one I know where I live has ever played. What's been your experience with 5e as a newb?
I started with Pathfinder and it is the only other d20 system I've played. Fifth edition is simple. At least compared to Pathfinder. Feats are less of thing, which makes character creation/advancement quicker than with PF. I've only played one session with the system, but combat takes less time and is easier in general. Somethings that I don't particularly like, but make sense are the usage of advantage and inspiration dice. Overall, I like it.
