So I usually can't focus on a single game for that long before I'm pulled to something else interesting, but I found this great site with a whole bunch of awesome builds that keep me invested enough to keep playing Skyrim and prevent it from being samey. I'm also a lore junkie, and most of the builds tickle my fancy in that quarter too. See if you find anything you like!
If you're worried about Skyrim becoming samey, I can't recommend getting into mods strongly enough. Get Mod Organizer and TES5Edit right off the bat and learn how they work so that you can have a stable modded game. You are very unlikely to have a stable modded game if you don't make a merge patch with TES5Edit, so you really should do this. You're also going to want Skyrim Script Extender straight away. There are countless great Skyrim mods out there. I could go on about my favorite mods for days. One of my favorite ways to learn about new mods is through the Brodual youtube channel, which has hundreds of Skyrim mod reviews. I'll link one of my favorites below.
I bought the legendary edition of Skyrim last night for the PS3 after playing it since release on/off on the PC with plenty of mods and feel like it's a completely different experience actually playing the vanilla game. I'm doing a play through with my SO except she's playing on PC where as she's had the opposite past with the game. I'm having much more fun this way! Unfortunately my two handed axe paladin somehow became a sneaky archer/dagger user like every play through ends up being.
