Tasmanian whiskys?! That I have to try sometime. Seems hard to find here in Norway, though. What's a good one to start with?

There are a few awesome ones.

Sullivan's Cove is amazing. It won the Best Single Malt category at the World Whisky Awards in 2014. Consistently voted Australia's best Single Malt over the last three years. Highly recommended.

Lark Distillery also has amazing whisky. I have this one at the moment and I'm really enjoying it. At 46%, it's super flavoursome and gives it some really rich and interesting notes!

Lastly (but certainly not least) is Hellyers Road. I've only had the 12yo Single Malt. But from memory it was really decent.

I'd also like to add a disclaimer... Australian alcohol is incredibly expensive... At least here. I'm not sure how you'll go trying to find it at a decent price (or at all!) in Norway. But good luck. I genuinely believe Australia has some really amazing whisky to offer! Cheers!

If you want to play the "which country is more expensive"-game, I think I'll win, although I must admit I thought Australia was cheaper.

I'll have to import it myself if I want it. So yeah, it'll be expensive, but good single malt usually is.

Fair enough! I new that Norway was expensive, but I had no idea!

I hope that if you do try to find some of them that you are successful and can get a good price :D
