For everyone here, a lack of Lisp experience isn't a deal-breaker. But, it will be learned. Deep experience in one or more languages can usually be translated to expertise in another after several months.
I have some free time after summer, so perhaps I can help with something. I can't promise too much, depending on how some of my feelers into the space industry pan out.
